Okay, I’m back to posting weekly outfit roundups after doing a little more unusual roundup last week of my Litchfield outfits, but I find it can be helpful to see what people pack and how they style and rewear things throughout a trip. Plus, we didn’t have the kids with us, so I did multiple outfit changes and got ready because I had time and didn’t have to worry about getting sticky fingers or spit-up on my clothes. But now back to our regularly scheduled programming. It’s starting to feel like spring here and we’re seeing the calendar reflect that. Isn’t it crazy how busy things get when spring arrives? Suddenly it’s like every fundraiser and birthday party and school activity is happening all at the same time. But I don’t mind. I like being busy and having places to go when the weather warms up and it speeds us into summer, which is probably my favorite time of year. This week, we celebrated our anniversary (lucky #9!) and packed in a million things, from events in the city for work to a fundraiser at my daughter’s school to multiple birthday parties and some exciting collaborations for here. I’m now looking at a pile of clothes I need to sort through and pack for spring break, which will be here before we know it, but I’m going to focus on what I wore the second week of April 2023 instead, because who enjoys packing?
It was a cold but sunny but warm week, alternating. between frigid mornings and sunny afternoons and chilly evenings so I wore a mix of outfits, from overly spring-y lewks that I froze my butt off in (but I”m done with tights until next year so pasty freezing legs it is) to sweaters and boots. Now it’s off to finish up the week, stuff Easter baskets and pack. Here’s what I wore the first second of April 2023.
