what I wore the fourth week of October 2023

Well team, we’re closing in on Halloween. Is everyone ready?! We’re actually not. No one has decided what they want to be or has committed to a costume, and I know it’s going to be a last minute scramble, but I guess what isn’t these days? Who’s excited to hit up Party City last minute and wait in line for ten hours with three screaming kids? Don’t be jealous of my plight in life. May try to Amazon Prime some options to avoid that chaos but sort of feels inevitable with my fickle crew. This week Andrew was traveling, I was solo parenting and trying to do all the things and get in all the coffees and meetings and events and so there was a big range of outfits in my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of October 2023. Some days I was just running out the door, lucky to have shoes on, and other days I got it together and got dressed before the kids were even up (really the only way to be put together and get stuff done during the day for me).

And now, here we are at Friday and the weekend. We have a jam-packed weekend with pumpkin fests and soccer and hockey and fall festivals and apple and pumpkin picking and even a gala. I’m excited to dress up and do all the things but also already exhausted thinking of all the things going on. Anyone else feel so overwhelmed by life lately? I’m going to try to finish up a bit of work before it’s off to the pumpkin fest and the weekend. But first, here’s what I wore the fourth week of October 2023.
