We just returned from spring break, and I’m still dreaming of warm weather and frozen drinks by the pool, but it’s back to colder temps on the East Coast and reality. Right now the weather is still cold then warm then cold, making it really hard to know how to dress for the day. Sometimes when I’m working from home I have time for multiple outfit changes, but for the most part, I have only a few minutes to get dressed and ready in the mornings and then it’s go, go, go until bedtime. So I am trying to dress in layers and relying on sweaters and jackets and blazers to keep me warm. I’d rather be hot than cold, but I always wear a lightweight t-shirt underneath so it’s easy to take off if I get warm, or if I’m wearing a dress, I’ll just throw a jacket or cardigan on over that I can easily remove should I feel the need. I find that I wear more pants this time of year. As much as I love dresses and there are so many spring ones, it’s still pretty chilly and I’m not going back to tights, so I prefer to wear pants and layer up. With that said, I am stocking up for dress season ahead, as you’ll see in my spring break edit and my roundup of what I wore the third week of April 2023. It may also be a phase I’m in now, but I’m really feeling pants styles and jeans, so I’m leaning in since sundress and swimsuit season will be here before we know it.
I can’t wait to tell you all about our amazing spring break trip next week, but in the meantime, here’s what I wore the third week of April 2023.
