what I wore the fourth week of April 2023

Hello fam and happy Friday. I can’t believe I’m already rounding up what I wore the fourth week of April 2023, and yet, here we are in the home stretch to summer. Have you finalized all your summer plans? Tbh, we haven’t. I am still trying to figure out what we are going to do in August and I want to plan some fun trips. But at the same time, I’m so overwhelmed with everything going on this spring that I really haven’t had time. I also didn’t get Charlotte into camp all the weeks I wanted (it’s like Hunger Games over here), so I need to figure out our plan for her for the weeks that her brother will be in camp and she won’t. I keep going back and forth between letting them just be free and less scheduled this summer and worrying that they need the socialization and will get bored etc.. At the same time, I would love for our family to have some time away together. I have been debating finding a rental at one of our favorite summer spots or somewhere new within driving distance of our home and doing something crazy like booking an airbnb in Coppenhagen and spending the summer there. Obviously that is job dependent too so probably won’t work with Andrew and I’s schedules, but it sounds amazing, right? Ok so tell me what to do because I have no idea. We do have a few things on the agenda, including a trip to France that I’m excited about sans kids and some fun stuff and it will be our first summer in our new home, so Andrew wants to spend time enjoying it. But I also feel like there’s only so much time where they’ll be young and not want to be here or not have sports where we can be away for a chunk of time. Idk. Moms who’ve been through this, what should we do? Buy a house on Nantucket right? Lol. Dreams!

This week was a busy one with work and events and lots of kids activities. It’s still a bit chilly so I’ve mostly been sticking to jeans and jackets and enjoying not having to wear a coat, but I did try bare legs this week too. Here’s what I wore the fourth week of April 2023.
