What I Wore This Week (No. 155)

And here we are at Memorial Day Weekend! How does that happen?! It feels like summer is starting but my oldest is still in school for another two weeks so it doesn’t totally feel like summer for me. I think once the schedule shifts with the end of the school year, it’ll feel like our summer has truly begun. But since this season is so short-lived, I am trying to get into the summer spirit now and make the most of these warm summer days. I love summer so much and it always feels like its over in a blink of an eye. I’m starting to shift my wardrobe to full-on summer as well, as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of May 2023. With that said, when I go into the city for work, I feel like I can be a bit less summery still, so I’m towing the line with more spring-y dresses and white jeans and jackets. A polished toe-in approach if you will.

We’re looking forward to a jam-packed Memorial Day weekend with some parties and time spent with friends and some kickoff parties and pool and beach. I can’t wait. I just love these long summer holiday weekends. It’s always such a good time and I just love the warmer weather and the sun being out and of course, all the excuses to enjoy ice cream.
