I’m not going to say, how is it already August? But honestly how the eff is it already August? I’m not ready for back to school and fall and that’s all I’m hearing everywhere I go. I’ve already enrolled the kids in their fall sports and it just feels like cooler temps and school days will be here before we know it. I would honestly love for summer to last forever but that’s not where we are, so I’m going to just savor August as much as I can. We don’t have a lot of camp and other plans, and I’m so happy about that. I want unstructured fun free time to just enjoy the warm weather, head to the pool or the beach, take vacations, and just savor this sweet time. Idk, I’m getting nostalgic for time. My kids are starting to get bigger faster and summers are those magical times when so many family memories are made. But of course it’s also the time when parents are desperately trying to juggle work and the kids being out of school and get everything done, which means having zero time to get dressed but needing to get dressed as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the last week of July 2023.
This week was a true mix of work clothes and wfh/running the kids around clothes. It was also hot and sticky. Now, it’s time to enjoy the weekend with a little pool and beach time and some barbequin and friends. And then I’m hoping to get a head start on packing for our first of several August getaways. We’re heading on a few fun trips this summer, and I’m so excited to kick off our first one next week. But before we kick off the weekend, here’s what I wore the last week of July 2023.
