Whew it was a busy week for us. They all feel busy these days, right? We had tennis and swimming and hockey and performing arts classes and ballet and events and pediatrician appointments. It was … a lot. But also nice to start hitting our group. Charlotte’s school is in full swing now so we have our morning routine more or less down pat. She got to start her one day a week extended day and I think that’s fun for her to eat lunch at school, too. I’m debating if I’ll have her do lunch bunch all year or just stick to one day a week. It’s hard because I want Brooks to nap while she’s at school so I can have that morning time but he’s also getting to the stage where he really should be at one nap a day and it should be in the middle of the day. But then that means picking Charlotte up from school at noon and then putting him down and having her up and at ’em until we get James at 3pm because she’s pretty phased out of her nap, which isn’t ideal. I’d rather have her and Brooks up together for lunch and then to play together when she gets home and is loud and running around. This is the issue with having kids spaced out like this. Not that it was up to us. Welcoming any and all suggestions or recs. Okay, not sure how we got into a nap discussion, but back to what I wore the fourth week of September 2023.
With all the running around and events etc., I wore a mix of outfits from casual to more dressed up, as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of September 2023. Right now, it’s starting to cool off a bit, so I’m leaning into sweaters and jeans and dresses and skirts that I can layer sweaters over and take off as it cools off. It is starting to feel like fall and I’m not sure how I feel about that. We’re gearing up for a low-key weekend with just a few activities, thank god. I kind of want to skip the playdates and just chill at home with the fam.
Here’s what I wore the fourth week of September 2023.
