Thanksgiving week 2023 — it’s a wrap. We cooked, we ate, we watched a Charlie Brown Christmas and lots of football, and now it’s time to decorate for Christmas. Yes, we held out unlike the rest of you crazies. Jk we mostly didn’t put up decorations any earlier, because life has been too crazy and I couldn’t add another thing to my plate in November. I was hanging on by a thin thread, and arguably still am, but we’re moms so we keep going is I guess what we’re doing these days, right? Was it this crazy for our moms too and we just weren’t aware? Idk been wondering that a lot lately. I suppose it’s all relatively. Anyway, I am here to interrupt your holiday weekend to share shat I wore the fourth week of November 2023 even though I’m sure you probably want to live in sweats adn stretchy pants post-Thanksgiving food coma, which I totally respect. Same, same except that we made way too many plans this weekend.
Leading up to Thanksgiving was a mad dash of Friendsgiving, school events, a work week jammed into 2.5 days and ltos of cooking and prep between trying to entertain the kiddos who got off school early Wednesday and have had the last couple of days off. I love not having a routine and extra family time, but it’s also been hard to get all the things on my to-do list done and to have any time to think, so promise more holiday content coming but lots here already on the site. I love that we’re going hard on every holiday in the post-pandemic world, but I’m already exhausted from Thanksgiving and the lead up and we have so much this weekend before holiday festivities kick in. Let the marathon to Christmas begin! Hope you had an amazing holiday with your family, friends, chosen family/friends, and ate all the turkey and pie (or yummy alternative if that’s not your jam) and have a great rest of the weekend. Here’s what I wore the fourth week of November 2023.
