What I Wore This Week (No. 205) – Closetful of Clothes

This was our first official week of summer break for all three kids, and needless to say, we’re loving it. It’s been a lot of shuttling everyone around to their different camps and activities and juggling the childcare and work, but I am really loving the warm days and afternoons at the pool and ice cream every day just because. I mean, you know, I just live for summer, and couldn’t be happier that it’s here. This week was a mix of easy, breezy outfits that I could wear from camp drop off to meetings to lunches to pick ups and swim lessons and ice cream runs to even a night out. As you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the third week of June 2024, I’m really leaning into summer with my dressing too.

This weekend we have an event, and then tons of birthday parties followed by pool and beach time. I can’t wait for a lazy summer weekend sans sports and school to get ready for (even though camp starts quite early Monday morning for James). I am most excited to savor the warm weather and being outside until bedtime. I don’t know. It just makes parenting so much easier and more fun. I feel like we just need to show up at the pool and there are built-in playdates for both the kids and parents, so it’s group parenting, which is always so much easier. I always forget that in the winter when it takes more of an effort to hang out with other families, but it’s just so much easier and more fun for everyone. And then when we want some quiet time without the social scene, there’s always the beach. We’re off to kick off a really fun weekend, but first, here’s what I wore the third week of June 2024.
