We are officially almost fully on spring break. I say almost because James still has two and a half days left of school. I know I’ve said this before but I really don’t understand why we can’t just have school off from Memorial Day to Labor Day. I realize this means extra time to figure out what to do with your kids, but once Memorial Day Weekend arrives, we’re just in summer mode and trying to maintain a schedule and not want to just be outside late and at the pool all day and having to pack lunches and still wake up and get everyone on the bus (or in my case, just James) just feels like a fight every time. I am also ready for a change of scenery, to not be in the bubble any longer, to sort of go into anonymous summer mode. Does anyone else get like that? Charlotte’s school knows what’s up and ends before MDW, so it’s also been a crazy hybrid for me of one foot in and one foot not quite in summer mode yet. But we are almost there, and the weather is half cooperating as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the second week of June 2025.
We’ve had a mixed bag of weather this week and lots of activities and things on the calendar to dress for, so I tried to make the most of it and hopefully have lots of summer outfit inspo for you that also all works if you’re postpartum and nursing. This weekend we’re jam packed with the last of the activities, dinner parties, beach parties and a totally free Father’s Day that I’m excited to do something fun for. But before we kick off the weekend, I’m going to tennis and then try to get as much as I can done. Here’s what I wore the second week of June 2025.
