Summer here we are at long last! James wrapped up school this week, Brooks and Charlotte have started camp, and we finally have nice weather arriving. It is officially summer 2025 and I’m so excited to make the most of it. We have so many exciting plans and honestly, I’ve never appreciated the fleeting nature of time more than now and I know that especially goes for summer — my most favorite time of year (well, maybe besides Christmas) — so I’m all about making the most of it! For me, that’s a lot of memory-making trips and adventures as well as afternoons at the pool and way too much ice cream, chicken fingers and fries. I want my kids to have the best summers ever. I hope one day that we can have a summer spot we go each year where they make friends and have a whole community, but we’re still figuring out where that spot will be, so for now, it’ll be a lot of trying out different places and adventuring. But this weekend, we’re here and going to enjoy the warm weather after a week that started out rainy and cold and is now heading into the 80s and maybe 90s, so you’ll see a wide range in my round up fo what I wore the third week of June 2025.
My parents are in town this weekend, so we’re going to be busy all day showing them around CT in summer. I am excited to finally wear all the summer dresses and shorts collecting dust in my closet, so next week’s outfit roundup should be good and filled with lots of summer outfit inspiration. But I think I have some good outfit ideas this week if you’re dressing for mercurial weather, but hopefully, this is the last you’ll see of rain coats and sweaters.
