This was a WEEK. James was back in school full time, which is so good for everyone, but we’re still adjusting to it. It’s his time going first full day, and it’s a big adjustment, so he’s extra tired and wild of course when he gets home. All the fall activities have started as well, so we’re jam packed. Charlotte even had two days of school this week (!) — they’re easing the two year olds in and that’s been a welcome but also new adjustment as well. I am relieved to have the kids out of the house for blocks of time when I don’t have to worry about noise or interruptions and Charlotte is only in school a few hours, so the quiet doesn’t last long. I’ve been busier than ever with work, so I’ve tried to hold it together by getting dressed every day. I’m doing good for fall so far, so I’m excited to share what I wore the last week of September 2021 with you.
It’s crazy that the weather is starting to get cooler and we’re in October already. I am getting excited for cozy sweaters and coats, but I am not looking forward to shorter days and cold. I took advantage of the warmer weather this week to wear some of my favorite new fall pieces, including a new jumpsuit I’m obsessed with (and is on super sale) and some of my new fall dresses that you may recognize as I’ve been wearing them on repeat. I’m also trying to stretch my summer dresses into fall by topping them with cardigans. I’m going to milk dress season for as long as I can, and I’m sure you would expect no less. Here’s what I wore the last week of September 2021.
Monday
Jumpsuit; Sneakers; Sunglasses
Tuesday
Dress; Slides (old Stuart Weitzman but similar here)
Wednesday
Dress; Sneakers; Cardigan (old Tory Burch but similar here at a great price point)
