It’s December. Welp. How is time moving this fast?! We had a busy and family-filled Thanksgiving, but to be honest, it wasn’t super restful. We took the kids to see lights shows, the circus, museums, movies, and more. I loved doing so many fun things with the kiddos, but it didn’t leave much time for rest. But honestly, unless you get a babysitter, you’re not doing much rest anyway. At this age, the kids can’t just chill and watch movies all day. Staying inside and having a lazy day just isn’t an option. So I’m glad we jam packed our weekend with fun activities, although it made the start to this week rough. It’s crazy how there’s so much going on at the holidays and then at the same time, work is just as crazy. It feels overwhelming and hard to stay on top of it all. I was in and out of the city this week for work and getting used to the commuting life again is no joke, and left little time to do things, so I’m glad I got most of our holiday shopping out of the way already and our Christmas cards sent. (Yes, I’m bragging about being so on top of everything because this is the first time I actually kind of sort of am. And because I was forced back into the craziness of work and juggling the kids and trying to get everything you guys need from the blog, I even managed to get dressed every day — well, mostly out of necessity. So I can wrap up this month with a roundup of what I wore the last week of November 2021.
