Even though Brooks is one now, I am still looking for nursery ideas for his room. And honestly, one of my favorite things is to peruse Pinterest for nursery ideas and decor. The fact is there’s no cuter space to decorate than a baby’s room. It’s just the reality. And I feel like I’ve moved every time we’ve had a baby, so I haven’t been able to invest in decorating our babies’s spaces as much as I would have liked. And currently we’ve been doing musical chairs in our new house figuring out who will sleep where, so I’m just now starting to think of nursery ideas for Brooks. In any event, I love gathering cute nursery decor and furniture and sending to friends or sharing with all of you. I know a lot of people are expecting and nesting right now, so hopefully this is helpful, and honestly, a lot of these finds could work just as well in a kid’s room or even guest room. I try not to go too young or baby-ish with nursery decor because it’s just not practical to redo a space every couple years. But I also like to add in a few fun touches that speak to the whimsical nature of childhood and that embraces this special time like an elephant shaped table or giraffe basket.
If you’re looking to decorate your little one’s space, I am sharing some of my favorite nursery ideas and decor. It includes a mix of art, decor and accessories, rugs and furniture. I also have lots of nursery ideas on the blog: Charlotte’s nursery before/after, the inspo for James’ big boy room that could have also worked as a nursery, and now my favorite pieces to complete your nursery.
