The week after the Fourth of July should really be a national holiday, no? It was nice to have Monday off and we had a great time celebrating the Fourth at the lake but getting back into gear this week has been hard. Luckily, it was a short week and the weekend is here. We have lots of pool time planned between birthday parties and hopefully, a little time for the parents to squeeze in some tennis or a date night. Other than that, I’m looking forward to enjoying just hanging out with the family and soaking in the sun and beautiful weather. This week I tried to do just that. As I face the end of my maternity leave, I really want to soak in as much time as I can with the kiddos. And that we did this week as you’ll see in my roundup of what I wore the first week of July 2022.
We went to the beach, pool, aquarium, farm… the list goes on. In between we were looking at houses, packing and trying to squeeze in a lunch date with the hubs. I didn’t get much time to snap my outfits, so apologies for all the selfies, but well worth it on my end. It was really nice to unplug a bit and lean into time with the kids without camp and work and plans. I got basically nothing done so next week will be…interesting. But I really enjoyed the time with the kiddos and feel like we got in some much needed QT. Not onto a weekend of the kids and then I’ll definitely be ready for camp to start again Monday. Here’s what I wore the first week of July 2022.
