What I Wore the Second Week of December 2022

We somehow survived another week of nonstop illness and lived to see another holiday weekend. My hope is that we will be healthy and have run through all these colds and viruses and flus in time for our annual Christmas trip to Park City. I’ll be so disappointed if any sickness gets in the way of our time out there. I think having one holiday ruined is enough to close out the year, don’t you? We are getting fully into the swing of the holiday season. It’s nonstop parties for work, the kids’ schools, the club, the town, and feels like everyone is having something these next few weeks. I’m already exhausted and we have weeks to go before Christmas. But I’m not complaining, even though I totally am. I love this time of year so much, and everything about it, including all the festivities. It’s just so special and fun even if I will need months to recover. This weekend, we’re heading to another holiday party and some Santa visits and brunches and gingerbread house making with a little swimming and skating and hockey in between. And then I head into another week of parties after that. AHHH. As you’ll see in this week’s round up of what I wore the second week of December 2022, there’s a pretty distinct high-low (or should I say, fancy shleppy mix). One day, I’m running around from drop off to work meetings to appointments to squeezing in some shopping and the next day, I’m attending a fancy holiday party after a long day of work and kids. But ’tis the season!
