The presents have been unwrapped and already played with to death. The cookies have been eaten. The Elf has gone back to the North Pole. And it’s all kind of bittersweet. I love this slow week between Christmas and New Year’s where it feels like, in many ways, the world has stopped, or at least it does for me. We get to ski and relax and spend time with family, and slow down as a family, which I love. At the same time, we have three little kids so it’s not exactly slow down that we’re doing. We had such a wonderful Christmas and we love getting to spend it in a magical winter wonderland with family. I am going to do a roundup of everything I wore on our ski trip, but as you probably know by now, I’m a week behind here, so you’ll still see holiday outfits from back home in my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of December 2023.
The thing I love about spending the holidays in Park City is that we have all these extended family and friends out here, so the festivities continue after Christmas and into the new year. There are dinners and apres ski parties and morning meet-ups at the ski lift and lunch breaks at the lodge. It’s always so much fun and just a great time to relax and enjoy good food, mountain air, and some of our favorite traditions. It makes me never want to go back to the regular life routine lol, but we will definitely need it after these past few weeks. Here’s what I wore the fourth week of December 2023, but really what I wore the week before we left and promise to have some ski and snow outfits coming your way next.
