Thank you for all the birthday wishes! I had a really nice birthday, and now it’s the count down to Brooks’ second birthday (!!!). Somehow he turns two on Sunday. I’m in disbelief. I feel like he was just born, and he’s already leaving behind the baby phase (although he’s my third, so he’ll always be my baby) and firmly planted in toddlerhood. I really don’t want him to get any bigger or grow up any faster, but 1-2 is so exhausting that I am looking forward to Brooks being able to communicate more and to understand when we ask him not to do crazy things like climb on top of the table and use it as a trampoline. Little boys are so cute but so wild! We’re planning a very low-key celebration for his birthday — just family and neighbors but I’m excited to celebrate our little man and have another excuse to celebrate. Spring events are certainly starting to pick up and as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the third week of March 2024, I got dressed for spring luncheons and previews and even a fundraiser at my daughter’s preschool. I am actually relishing the chance to dress again after a long winter that left me just wanting to wear cozy sweaters and leggings (anyone else?).
The weather is still very much going back and forth, but I’ve entered my spring dress era and I’m not looking back. I try to always bring a sweater and coat to throw on top because the days are still chilly, but I am not waiting any longer to bring out the spring prints and silhouettes. Now, off to do a little work and party prep. Here’s what I wore the third week of March 2024. ‘Here’s what I wore the third week of March 2024.
