April is in full swing, and we’re heading somewhere warm for spring break. The kids’ spring break is late this year so I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to go somewhere warm and I’m beyond excited. We all desperately need a change of scenery and some sun. It’s been a long winter and a chilly start to spring, as March and early April always are. I’m ready for some at the beach and in the sun. I’m going to try to take a break from work too so I can relax and unplug a bit, although I’ll still be posting on the ‘gram and the Tok because well, the algos won’t let you disappear without suffering their wrath. But I also love connecting and sharing on there, so really, I can’t help myself. But before I start packing us up, I’ve got my roundup of what I wore the second week of April 2024.
It’s been chilly but warming up, and I refuse to wear boots or heavy coats anymore. I’m fully transitioning into my spring era, which is all about pretty dresses and tailored jackets. I had a few events this week, and even got my hair done at long last, so I’m feeling fresh and ready for spring break. But this week, was full of dresses and roots for a nice contrast.
