Hello and happy Fourth of July! I hope you all had the best time celebrating. We were at the lake house doing all the fun summer things — sailing, paddle boarding, kayaking, swimming, fishing, hiking, roasting s’mores, bbqing, staying in our swimsuits all day and our pajamas way too late, and it was wonderful. We did fireworks on the Fourth and now we’re just soaking in some fun in the sun before we head back home for the town fireworks and festival. They’re doing it on Saturday this year, which I love because it just keeps the celebration going. May regret it when everyone is overly tired and has to get into a new camp routine on Monday but whatever, it’s summer, it’s camp. It’s not the end of the world if the kids stay up too late having fun and making core memories right? But before we head outside for some lake time, I wanted tos hare what I wore the last week of June 2024.
I am not shocked that summer is flying by. That’s what it does. There’s so much to look forward to, like the Fourth of July, it’s hard not to countdown to it and then it’s over in a flash. It’s the nature of summer — it’s fleeting. This I know, but man, I wouldn’t mind if it could slow down a bit more. I love summer weather and all the fun that goes with it and the excuse for ice cream at every meal and summer dressing. This week, I was all about breezy sundresses as the weather was warm and we had lots of fun events and parties to dress for. Have a great weekend everyone. Here’s what I wore the last week of June 2024.
