Unfortunately for those of us who still have kids in school (whyyyyy), Maycember has bled into June-cember. We are nearing the end of the craziness but it’s not done yet. This week, we had field day, ballet recital dress rehearsals, pop stars performances, hockey, lacrosse, tennis, tennis makeups, first week of camp for Brooks, camp for Charlotte, regular school for James, and head colds and coughs that kept everyone from sleeping. Oh, and people at the house mulching, planting, weeding now that it’s finally nicer out, which I’m so excited about but more things to manage. Did I mention, we’ve had a fox prowling our neighborhood and apparently a bob cat too and now I’m scared to go on my morning runs but they were giving me life. Do foxes attack humans? I already worry about walking Dakota. Ok, sorry. I got wayyyy off track and I’m here to share what I wore the first week of June 2025.
The week started out a bit chilly but then we had a heatwave and it felt good. I wish we could ease into summer a bit more rather than go from freezing rain to 80 degree sun in a matter of minutes, but I’ll take it! I honestly wish we could be at the pool more but it doesn’t really feel like summer break until James is out. We’re still sort of beholden to schedules and activities from spring for another week. So I’m running around from drop offs to errands to work to pick ups to activities to events here and there. But tonight we’re going out with some friends and then enjoying a fun weekend, including Charlotte’s big dance performance and lots of sports. And then we’re in the final stretch of school until SUMMER! Here’s what I wore the first week of June 2025.
