What I Wore the fourth week of June 2025

I’m in disbelief that it’s already the end of June. I feel like we’ve been going, going, going since well, since maybe spring break. It’s just been a whirlwind. But after a rainy, cold spring and start to summer, we got blessed with an extreme heat wave for our first full week of no school and full-on summer. I am really trying not to complain because I don’t want more cold and rain, but near 100 degree days with heat advisories was a little intense for the kickoff to summer. My poor kids started camp and I just felt so bad sending them off for a full day outside in the heat. Of course there was lots of water games and pool, but still. It was a lot. But everyone had fun, we got over what I hope is the final wave of sickness and we are ready to dive into the weekend. But first, I’m sharing what I wore the fourth week of June 2025 aka some inso for how to dress during a heat wave.

We are heading to the lake this weekend to enjoy our favorite activities – paddle boarding, kayaking and canoeing, swimming, hiking, fishing, s’mores and pancakes in the morning. It’s such a fun place for the kids and we aren’t going up for the Fourth, which is usually our tradition, so I’m excited to get there early on in the summer. We used to spend every weekend there, but with camp and then all the other activities and travels we have planned, I don’t know how much we’ll get up there this year, so I’m excited to at least have a couple days. I need to go pack, but first, here’s what I wore the fourth week of June 2025.
