I have been rounding up the holiday outfit for you guys nonstop, and I keep getting requests for more. I’m actually getting requests for very specific occasions – Christmas Eve, Christmas dinner, office holiday party, school holiday functions, etc. I get it. I have all these things too and it seems like the invitations keep rolling each day. Don’t get me wrong. I’m grateful for all these excuses to celebrate, and I LOVE the holidays so I’m all about milking them for everything before the doldrums of winter set in and there’s not much to look forward to and many months until spring. BUT I am a bit overwhelmed by all the holiday parties this year and the many different dress codes and outfits to plan for them. From my DMs, it seems like you guys are feeling the same way, so I’m going to try to help you out and get to as many as I can. I like putting these all together on the blog so you have a place to reference, but I’ll also be sharing more outfit ideas on the ‘gram because well, people like their content in different places. But like I put all this work into this blog, so please come here too, mkay? 🙂 Today I’m going to address the question I’ve been getting the most questions about – what to wear to a Christmas Party.
Christmas parties tend to be a bit more festive, with lots of red and green and some sparkle. Although I firmly believe you can wear black throughout the holidays, I do prefer something a bit more fun for a Christmas party. People like to get festive, and you don’t want to be the Debbie Downer. Although I’ll contradict myself because a black dress is always a safe bet, but if you’re more of a minimalist or not really the green and red type,I’d go for a white or ivory dress of a deep burgundy for a Christmas party. Or if you’re feeling the holidays, go all out. Now’s your time to go for the red or green or sparkle. I rounded up some of my favorite options for what to wear to a Christmas Party.
