Patio Ideas

The home decorating continues! Honestly, does it ever end? I guess when it does I’ll be ready to move so there’s that… Right now, it’s starting to slowly slowly feel like spring, and I’m thinking about how we’re going to set up our outdoor spaces to entertain and just enjoy as a family. We have this great porch on the side of our house that opens up off the family room and my husband has been hounding me to figure out what to do with the space. Andrew loves barbecuing and eating outside, so he’s excited to do that and envisions himself working from out there as well (lol good luck with three kids buddy). Even though I’m more focused on the inside of our house, I do think we’ll be grateful to have our porch set up in a nice way. We have a stone terrace below the porch where we set up a fire pit and adirondack chairs and then we have both our grills set up (yes, we have two… I can’t. We had no furniture but two grills for a long time…). I thought about doing rocking chairs on the porch because it’s a little awkward how it faces right now — we still need to install fencing around our yard and doing landscaping. But I do think having a table out there could be really nice, and once I started researching patio ideas, I got really inspired to make it a great space.

I love sharing our home journey with you, so I thought I’d share the patio ideas I’m loving. I also like to gather inspo before pulling the trigger on a table and with so much outdoor furniture on sale right now, I’ve been really tempted to just buy something, so I’m forcing myself to slow down and put all the patio ideas I like into a blog post so I can really get a feel for what I want to do.
