I can’t believe our trip to the Bahamas is already over. It sort of feels like it never happened even though we literally just got back. Isn’t it crazy how that happens? But life seems to be such a whirlwind these days, which I think is what happens at the end of the summer. It was a really great trip and really nice for our family to get away just the five of us before there are six! With that said, it was exhausting. It was just us and the three kiddos and our kids have so much energy, so it was a lot of activities and late dinners and early mornings. Brooks is a lot to manage on his own, so add in two others, and it can feel like a lot. You just can’t ever sit down and relax with him at this age. But we made so many great memories and had a really special time on our trip. We stayed at Baha Mar, and it couldn’t be more convenient or family-friendly. It was definitely very hot while we were there, so you’ll see I stuck to dresses and coverups. I felt very pregnant this trip, so breezy dresses was the name of the game as you’ll see from my round up of what I wore on our summer 2024 Bahamas vacation.
I tried to get in the final wears out of my summery dresses and stick to lightweight fabrics due to the heat. I went with flat sandals and flip-flops because I was on my feet all day, from pool to beach to water park to all the activities and restaurants. I am also nearly 8 months pregnant so flats felt right. While I know we’re all starting to focus on fall, I hope my roundup of what I wore on our summer 2024 Bahamas vacation offers some end of summer out and resort wear inspo.
