April has begun and we’re in full-on spring mode over here. It’s finally feeling like the cold freezes are over and we may be on the path to permanent warmer temps, though I’m scared I’ve just jinxed myself by saying that. But I am not complaining at all. I love spring and the warm but not too warm weather and most of all, after a long, dark winter, the sunshine. I am excited to leave the house finally and the invitations for parties and events are starting to roll in, so I finally have excuses to dress up and wear all the pretty spring dresses and clothes I’ve been eyeing and buying. I knew I’d need them, right? Always shop for the life you want I say. I don’t know what it is about spring, but it just makes me want to embrace my feminine side and wear all the pretty dresses, as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the first week of April 2024.
I know I’m not alone — judging by my recent best sellers, you guys are as into all the spring things as I am, which I love. This week was just the usual smattering of work and activities, with some events mixed in. I had a big party for a brand I work with, a special luncheon, and tonight, a big party in the city for a friend that I’m dressing up for (as you’ll see in my Friday fit – though I’m currently in leggings and a sweatshirt wrapping up the week’s work, but I snapped a pic of it when I tried it on for a reel so this is what I will be wearing).
