How are we already at Memorial Day weekend?! Anyone else in shock and yet not, because time flies by so fast these days. I don’t know if it’s the post pandemic world or having children or getting older (probably all three) but life is just zooming by. But I am not complaining about the arrival of summer. Nope, not one bit. Memorial Day marks the beginning of summer for me, and it’s my absolute favorite time of year. I have ambitious plans to really relax and make the most of this summer with the kids but also so much I want to do for work and my business, so I’m not sure how I’m going to manage, but I will worry about that later. For now, I’m so excited to do all the summer things and wear all the summer clothes as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of May 2024.
This weekend we’re doing a whole mishmosh of activities — heading up to the lake house for a couple days, going to a friend’s party, going to another friend’s bbq, hitting up our local parade, and maybe bbq-ing at our house ourselves. It’s going to be so much fun and I’m not sure super relaxing, but I much prefer busy. However, there are quite a few home projects I’d love to get done, so we’ll see. I’m trying to wrap up a few things while I have a sitter and then it’s off to kick off summer. But, of course, first, here’s what I wore the fourth week of May 2024.
