I’m coming off a week of solo parenting that’s also been jam-packed with events and activities and doctor appointments and everything else. I’m… exhausted. I came off food poisoning last weekend right into a week of having the kids solo, and feel like I never really caught up — I need like a week to nap. Doesn’t that sound just amazing? And it’ll never happen… So guess we just power on. We’re heading to a cocktail party tonight but first I have a doctor appointment to check on baby (I’m down to weekly appointments, omg), Brooks’ swim lessons, hockey and flag football. Whew. I also have a ton of work to wrap up. Not sure when I’m going to shower, but that’s what dry shampoo is for, right? But as you’ll see from my roundup of what I wore the fourth week of September 2024, there was a lot going on this week and a lot to get dressed for.
The weather is so weird — cold in the mornings, warm in the afternoons and then cold at night. It makes getting dressed for the day tough. I often will go through a few outfit changes throughout the day, from workout clothes to outfit one for working and pick up to something more casual when the kids get home and I’m running them around to all the activities. I’m not sharing them all here because honestly, I often get so busy I forget to capture my outfit, or my outfit is not suitable for photographing (lol). But trying my best to share as much as I can of realistic everyday outfits for busy moms who are trying to do it all (an impossible task as we all know). I’m jumping into our crazy Friday and then looking forward to relaxing between the usual smattering of sports and activities and birthday parties this weekend. But first, here’s what I wore the fourth week of September 2024.
