Typically, Andrew and I haven’t been big on the holiday gift exchanges, or really gift giving in general. I actually love giving gifts and in some ways, is my love language even if it stresses me out to agonize over what to give the person. But that’s not really how Andrew works. To him, gifts aren’t that exciting (although he does get excited when I knock it out of the park). But we always go skiing in Park City at the holidays, so we generally just consider some of the experiences we do out there as our holiday gift, and now with kids, let’s be serious, all our gift giving is focused on them. And now that we are three kids deep, I like to make our gifts experiences or getaways because it’s really the only time we get to guilt someone into caring for all the kids and making an excuse to get away together. But every once in awhile Andrew will surprise me with a beautiful piece of jewelry and those are truly my most treasured gifts and belongings. Other items go in and out of style or favor, but jewelry that I take out for a special occasion or reach for every day, is so sentimental and special. I always think of jewelry as being bought with love and care too. It’s so special that you know the giver really thought of you and wanted to do something special for you. Idk if that resonates for you as well. I know a lot of you are doing holiday shopping or sending your loved ones links to what they should get for you (just me?), so I thought I’d do a roundup of the best jewelry gifts for her.
I’ve recently become a huge fan of Dorsey’s jewelry. The lab grown diamonds and gemstones are beautiful, well made, and the types of pieces you will wear forever and pass down. But I also love that they’re not so crazy expensive that you have to decide between them and a vacation or that you are afraid to wear them all the time (which is what has historically been the reason why I don’t wear a lot of my jewelry). They have so many gorgeous pieces, from tennis necklaces and bracelets to stunning rings and earrings, so I thought I’d share some of my favorite pieces that would make the best jewelry gifts for her.
